It is hoped that the initial aircraft will be an S76C+ but this will depend on raising sufficient funds

One patient, four attendants configuration

The helicopter will be configured to carry two pilots, four medical staff and normally one patient. If necessary the cabin could be re-roled to carry both baby and Mum plus a four person medical team.

Cruising at speeds of up to 180 m.p.h. with an endurance of three hours the S76C+ is ideally suited for this type of operation.

Fitted with a fully coupled autopilot, weather radar and G.P.S. system the S76 can be flown safely by either one or two pilots
